Hi, I’m Monquitta Simms, the founder and teacher of Blush by Jireh Dance Company. Dance has always been my passion, but even more than that, I believe in using it as a tool to help young girls grow in confidence, creativity, and character. I launched Blush by Jireh on August 7, 2025, with the vision that “Every Girl Deserves to Shine.” My goal is to provide a safe, affordable, and welcoming space where girls ages 2–17 can discover their love for dance, make new friends, and build life skills that last far beyond the studio. I am also a proud wife and mother, roles that inspire me every day to lead with love, patience, and faith. Just as I pour into my own family, I pour into every dancer who walks through our doors. Outside of dance, I am continuing my education and working toward becoming a nurse and midwife, while dedicating my heart and energy to uplifting the next generation. At Blush by Jireh, every dancer matters, and every girl deserves the chance to shine—on the stage and in life.
